Redundency with ztC Edge from Stratus Technology

As modern factories continue to move towards automation and system linkage, reliability and connectivity become increasingly vital. This results in many cases where redundant systems are desirable. 

One verified redundant method for the Takebishi original industrial communication software "DeviceXPlorer OPC Server" is with the continuous edge server "ztC Edge" from Stratus Technology. The verified results are shown here. 

Verified Construction

A system was constructed where PLC information was periodically obtained via a redundant DeviceXPlorer OPC Server with the continuous edge server ztC Edge 250i and the OPC Client DeviceXPlorer Data Logger. The time required for failover during error occurence was measured.
